Our Company
A quiet place to bring order to what matters.
Aevum began with a straightforward observation: retirement paperwork can feel overwhelming, and many people simply need a calm, knowledgeable presence alongside them to work through it.
Back to HomeOur Story
How Aevum came to be
Aevum was founded in Bangkok by a small group of people who had watched family members struggle not with their retirement itself, but with the paperwork surrounding it. Statements went unfiled. Correspondence from government bodies sat unanswered because the language felt impenetrable. Documents needed for simple administrative steps couldn't be located when the time came.
The solution, it turned out, was not complicated. What people needed was someone patient, knowledgeable, and entirely without an agenda — not an adviser trying to sell a product, and not a government desk with a queue behind them. Just a quiet room, a methodical approach, and enough time to go through things properly.
That is what Aevum offers. We work alongside people who are approaching or already in retirement, helping them sort, label, and file the documents that tend to accumulate over a working life. We also run small-group sessions where we explain, in plain language, how common retirement-related processes generally work, so that people feel better prepared to ask the right questions of the bodies that hold the answers.
Our Mission
What we are here to do
Our work is organisational and informational. We do not provide financial advice, legal guidance, or any form of representation. We are careful to maintain that boundary because it keeps our clients in control of their own affairs and ensures that the support we give them is genuinely helpful rather than creating new dependencies.
Respect for pace
We move at whatever speed feels comfortable. There is no pressure and no rush.
No commercial interest
We do not sell financial products or receive referral fees. Our only interest is giving you a tidy folder and a clearer picture.
Your documents stay yours
We do not retain copies of personal documents. Everything we create together leaves with you.
Our Team
The people you will meet at Aevum
Our small team brings backgrounds in public administration, adult education, and records management. Everyone here is drawn to work that genuinely helps people find their footing.
Priya Narathip
Founder & Lead Facilitator
Priya spent twelve years working in public records management before founding Aevum. She leads the organisation sessions and designs the workshop curriculum.
Somchai Arunrat
Workshop Coordinator
Somchai brings a background in adult education and community outreach. He coordinates the retirement information series and ensures materials are genuinely accessible.
Linda Wattana
Client Relations & Family Briefing Specialist
Linda leads the Family Briefing Package work. She has a background in social services and understands the importance of family communication around sensitive personal records.
Our Standards
How we approach the work
We hold ourselves to a clear set of operating standards. These are not aspirations — they shape every session, every piece of printed material, and every interaction with a client.
Document confidentiality
We handle personal documents with care and do not retain copies after a session. Client materials are not shared with third parties under any circumstances.
Clear scope of work
Every engagement begins with a written description of what we will and will not do. We are explicit about the boundary between organisational support and regulated advice.
Plain language materials
All written materials — checklists, glossaries, briefing sheets — are reviewed for clarity before use. We avoid jargon and test materials with non-specialist readers.
Feedback after each session
We ask every client for honest feedback in writing. Responses are reviewed by the team and inform how sessions and materials are updated over time.
No referral arrangements
We do not receive fees or commissions from financial advisers, legal firms, or any other third party. Recommendations to external bodies are based purely on relevance.
Regular content review
The information we share in workshops reflects the general state of common retirement-related processes. We review workshop content at least twice a year to keep it current.
Our Values
Steady, practical, and straightforward
Aevum exists in a space that many organisations overlook: between the person who wants to understand their retirement paperwork and the official bodies that hold the answers. We do not replace those bodies, and we do not pretend to. What we do is help people arrive at those conversations better prepared — with documents in order, terminology understood, and a clearer sense of what questions to ask.
Our location in Khlong Toei, Bangkok, reflects the communities we serve. Many of our clients are long-term residents of Thailand who have worked across different employment arrangements and find themselves approaching retirement with a collection of documents from several sources. Others are Thai nationals who simply want to make sure their records are coherent before they begin any formal processes.
What connects all of them is a preference for working at a measured pace, in a setting that does not feel like a sales environment. Aevum's office is designed around that preference. Sessions take place in a quiet room with a table, a set of labelling materials, and enough time to go through things properly. There is no script, no target to hit, and no product to sell at the end.
We believe that good organisational support, delivered honestly and without pressure, is genuinely useful at one of the more significant transitions in adult life. That is what we are here to provide.
